Do you know the VMR Southport Rescue Base has facilities able to be hired to the general public?

We have an outdoor area available for all sorts of functions, birthday parties, weddings, luncheons, etc. Limitations sometimes do apply

This area can hold a large number of people, and has large covered, and uncovered sections.

The Base facility is licensed, with Bar facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen for catering purposes.

The choice is yours as to whether you cater for your own function, or should you choose, we allow external catering companies to use our facility for your function.

VMR Southport also has a fully equipped Training Room, available to be hired for Courses, Seminars, and Meetings

This room can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people, and can be booked any day of the week, pending availability.

Fully air conditioned, with a large wall mounted touch screen, and a camera for recording and streaming of meetings, this Training Room has all the mod cons to make your session as private, or open, as you require

Our kitchen facilities also provide a wall mounted hot water urn, tea and coffee, a microwave oven, and most other appliances to make catering for your participants very easy
